Tommy Eugene O'Kelley

Tommy Eugene O’Kelley, 87, of Clermont, Ga. died on Thursday, December 23, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Christian Hill Baptist Church, Clermont, Ga. Reverend Jimmy Ellis, Reverend Danny O’Kelley, and Reverend Dave Manzer will officiate the service. Interment will be in Christian Hill Baptist Church Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Mr. O’Kelley retired from military service, as a 1st Sgt with the United States Marine Corps. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served two tours in Vietnam. After his military service he worked for and retired from J.B. Hunt. Mr. O’Kelley also served his community as a minister.

Mr. O'Kelley is survived by his wife Martha B. O'Kelley. His sons; Danny (Joyce) O'Kelley of Cleveland, Ga., Jeff (Brenda) O'Kelley of Statham, Ga., and Brad O'Kelley of Flowery Branch, Ga., his daughters; Tammy Norris of Flowery Branch, Wendy (Joe) Martel of Chicopee, Ma., Kim (David) Massey of Flowery Branch, Ga., his stepsons; Jerry (Joyce) Chambers of Murrayville, Ga., Scottie (Patti) Chambers of Clermont, Ga., and Frankie Chambers of Lula, Ga. Mr. O'Kelley is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
