Charlie H. Patrick

Charles (Charlie) Hansel Patrick, age 79, of Clermont, GA. passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Patrick was born Dec. 25, 1933, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to the late Brady H. Patrick, SR. and Myrtis Marie Wells Patrick.  Charlie was also preceded in death by his brother Brady H. Patrick, Jr.

Charlie will forever live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew him. We will forever remember his amazing humor; his true honesty; and love for life, family and friends; and last but not least, a devoted Alabama fan (ROLL TIDE).

Survivors include his wife; Martha Patrick, Clermont; son and daughter-in-law, Hance & Teddi Patrick, Milledgeville, GA; Son, Paul Patrick, Erie, Pa; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy & Keith Moon, Mansfield, GA; step daughter, and husband, Shannon & Bryan Strickland, Gainesville, GA; stepson, Patrick Peck, Clermont, GA; grandson Brad McClung; grand daughter, Elaine Patrick; great grand son, Rush McClung; step grandchildren; Lauryn & husband Sam White; Sloan Strickland & Michaela Schmitz. Brother & sister-in-law, David and Carolyn Patrick, Tuscaloosa, AL; sister-in-law Evelyn Patrick, Estill Springs, TN; sister-in-law & husband Mary & Travis Dyer, Gainesville, GA; brother-in-law, Charles Whelchel, Columbia, S.C.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, July 15, 2013 at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, Clermont, GA; with the Rev. Kevin Woody officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity United Methodist Church, Clermont, GA; Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Sunday, July 14, at the funeral home

The family would like to thank Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center. (Sandy, Janet, Denise, Susie, & Johnny) for their love, comfort & guidance throughout this very difficult journey.
